Ricky Neil Jr. is causing a ruckus in the West Australian indie music scene. Born in Albany, the stage name “Ricky Neil Jr.” is an homage to his father and his roots as a proud Menang Noongar man. Accompanied by an all-star band of young Perth musicians – Ricky delivers a live performance that blends genres from funk and pop to rock and soul. Inspired by the likes of Prince, INXS and Silk Sonic, leading man Ricky showcases powerful vocals and dazzling showmanship, channeling a distinctive energy that can turn an artist into an icon of the stage.

Active for less than a year, Ricky and the band burst on to the scene with a high energy pop-funk sound, kicking off 2024 with a sold out debut single launch at the iconic William Street Bird.
