Drea

Drea is a talented, young singer from Perth, Western Australia who captivates many audiences through her ability to portray vulnerability in ballads and always performs with confidence in more outspoken songs. She started her music career in church and remains connected to her faith through music. Drea is heavily influenced by gospel, hip-hop and R&B, blending the styles to create her own unique flavour. 

She is influenced by gospel artists including Whitney Houston, Cece & Bebe Winans and Kirk Franklin, Donny McClurkin. She has been recently experimenting with sounds similar to Ariana Grande, Tori Kelly, Kehlani, Mahalia and IMRSQD.

Drea creates music about life’s ups and downs, connected to her own journey and personal stories.  A highly sought after vocalist, Drea has opened for international phenomenon Billy Ocean, New Zealand’s SIX60 and Drax Project and performed at Perth Bluesfest 2023.

Drea has recently finished in the Top 8 of Australian Idol 2024. With plans to release more original music and collaborate with other artists this year, she has started 2024 on a high.
