Sam McGovern

Sam McGovern is an Australian Singer-Songwriter & Guitarist. Born & raised in a quiet coastal town of regional Western Australia, two hobbies became prominent to occupy spare time, Guitar & Surfing. Surrounded by music from birth – near perfect pitch came naturally to Sam, due to a sophisticated & diverse musical atmosphere influenced from his Dad’s discography. Drawing influence from the likes of John Mayer, Sting, Eric Clapton, Sade, Norah Jones & a wide range of classic Blues, Rock, Pop & Soul artists. Sam has dived headfirst into the local scene, creating waves of attention, countless millions of views & praise from the likes of Coldplay, whilst given opportunity to tour the country with the likes of Dean Lewis, Harrison Storm, Hollow Coves & most recently ex lead singer of Spandau Ballet, Tony Hadley. Although known for his charismatic nature & smart approach to marketing, above all, Sam’s talent shines dominant.
